The Boyne Resorts family of courses is made up of courses on 4 different properties. Topping the list is Bay Harbor Golf Club which offers three separate nine-hole layouts, The Links, The Quarry, and The Preserve. The Links-Quarry combination of 18 holes is ranked #63 on Golf Digest’s Top 100 public courses list. Honestly, I’m surprised it’s not ranked a little higher as the views and amazing golf holes on that 18 are hard to beat. Nearby Crooked Tree is an Arthur Hills design that I consider a hidden gem of Northern Michigan golf.

The other two locations are well-known for their ski hills as well, but the golf course offerings keep the summers busy! At Boyne Highlands there are four courses to choose from. The Heather Course is an old-school masterpiece designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and is the cream of the crop according to most raters. Boyne Highlands also offers the Arthur Hills, Donald Ross Memorial and The Moor courses. A little farther south at Boyne Mountain Resort, you can play the Alpine and Monument courses.
